My main research interest is the application of game theory
to the mathematical modelling of biological populations, in particular using
the concept of Evolutionarily Stable Strategies (ESSs).
I am currently supervising two research students: Carole
Becker (jointly with Qi Tang) and Martin Harrison. I am particularly keen to
supervise research students in one of the projects described in Research project, or in any of the areas listed in Research interests.
Conference
I am organizing the conference Mathematical
Models in Evolution and Ecology to be held here at Sussex on 20-21
September 2007
I am giving the following lecture course in the academic
year 2007/2008.
